06-2007 Travelers For Travelers Newsletter June 2007.
It is going great with our network. More then 1000 members have joined our community in the first 2 months that we are live. Travelers from 100 countries all around the world are sharing experiences and making it possible to travel for free.
What is new on the site?
- Check out other members by using the map. Click "Show Map" in the search bar.
- The profile view has a new look, so now it is easier to see what members offer.
- On the map and within the search results you can see what members offer.
- You can update your personal details with a picture and information, check out the link when you are logged in to your profile.
Tips and Hints
- Update the things you offer, so people know exactly what you offer.
- Try to find members using the Map. It is easy and fun to use.
- Upload a picture to your profile, so the other members can see who you are.
- Use the link "Send a request" within the profile of a member to ask for an activity or information.
04-2007 Interview with Marco on Dutch Radio 1
04-2007 First goal reached !!!
More then 500 people from more then 70 countries across the world did already sign up for the community. Which means the first goal is achieved ! And we like to tell you that this is just the start. As you can see by now the website has been officialy launched. 6 programmers,1 designer and lot's of other people did worked around the clock for 10 weeks now to getting this version online.

03-2007 Website anouncement Dutch Radio 1
On the special Dutch backpackers show "Weg met BNN" on the Dutch Radio 1, Marco kicked off the marketing campaign for Travelers for Travelers. Marco explained his idea for the site which is a huge project for him.
During his journey around the world, the idea for this community was born and Marco started realising his dream after he came back home. Marco hopes through giving interviews on shows like this one, people will become familiar with his ideas, and will help Marco to build this community towards one of the biggest backpackers community's in the world.
When the goal of 500 worldwide members is achieved the website with some of the functionalities will go online. To listen to the interview you can on > below. A little note is that the interview is in Dutch.
