I am a social worker running a small organisation for the underprivileged children of a village in Bangalore. I am fun loving and independent. I sing, paint and also deal in
jute bags and handmade cards. I come from a family of
6 siblings, I'm the youngest and have had all liberties to do as I wish in life. I travelled to the north of India during October2008 all alone

Social Worker. I run a small NGO called `Kalika India', Kalika means
a bud in sanskrit. I started this 6 years back. It is a self reliance
project for the underprivileged children of the village Varthur in
Bangalore.. I live there and train them in making Handmade greeting cards, Paintings on bark and also help other small NGOs market jute bags, folders etc.
I.m an MA in sociology with training in voluntary social work from the
Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
Trained also in Music and Painting.
I sing , paint, read and spend most of my time with the
children of my Organisation.
Want to travel as I am finding it difficult to run my Organisation alone. I need a break , meet people, exchange ideas and maybe
try and help children with problems in other parts of the world.
And along the way see different places and people.
