experiences in Barcelona u can share

A fine and high-end affitto appartamenti Barcellona is exactly what I’m looking for as an accommodation in my holidays to Barcelona. While a lot of sites are offering detailed descriptions and photos of fine apartments, nothing excites me more than visitor’s opinions who have been in Barcelona and have stayed in one of the great apartments there. So this goes to anyone who have had experiences in Barcelona and like to share them to me, I’ll really appreciate it. Thank you!

Barcelona is such a beautiful and complete city, the architectures of Gaudi, the picasso musemum, the food-Seafood paella! People tend to have late dinner there, say after 10pm, you will definitely need tapas to tide you over if you order paella which normally takes 30 minutes to cook.

Hi there!
I love Barcalona so much. I've been twice now. Gaudi, good food, little shops, narrow streets, history and of course the beach.....you have it all in Barca. Last year i stayed in a backpackers place whiche was very clean and on a central but not busy location. A couple of weeks ago I stayed in a hotel in the Raval neighbourhood. It was called Pension Miami( I know strange name). It was basic and very cheap. But clean and you got clean towels every day and a bath. I would stay at the same place again.
Ow and for the people who love Gaudi, I would highly recommend to go to Casa Mila and do the long audio tour(audio tour is free). You learn a lot about Gaudi.
For everybody that is going there, have fun! Henriette

Twice i went to Barcelona..once duringthe New year's eve and the second time spmetime in March. On one occasion i stayed in one of the bylanes of Las Ramblas the famous street. The second time i stayed at a friend's home as a guest.
Barcelona IS a city to be seen and never to be missed. I think every second person is a tourist there!!!!

Since i stayed very close to Las Ramblas, i had a very nice time with fellow travellers. Seems the street never sleeps. Since all through the year tourists are pouring-in, you need to book much in advance or else you need have luck as i had (to stay very close to Las Ramblas).

There are lots of things to be seen ..La Pedrera - Casa Mila by Antonio Gaudi,Picasso Museum,Sagrada Familia by Antonio Gaudi ,The Magic Fountain etc etc.
The one interesting thing about Sagrada Familia is that this church is never completed f .Seems this has been under construction since 1882.
Another interestng thing there is a fountain (actually a tap water) which if you drink that water, you are sure to return to Barcelona.!!

Hello
I will tell you about my culinary experience in Barcelona.

Barcelona is the city of mixed cultures and traditions. The city is a blend of several culinary experiences. Barcelona is presently following the avant garde movement in the social and traditional areas. What & Where to Eat in Barcelona is a wide subject. Traditional Catalan cuisine, vegetarian delicacies, food from places as far as India and Japan or as close by as Italy and France are available.
Basque tapas, Middle Eastern snacks, freshly squeezed juices, organic buffets, meats, cheeses or fish highlight as the international cuisine in Barcelona. The locals and the visitors of Barcelona experience the taste of fusion food, seafood and various other tastes. Barcelona is gradually becoming a centre of great food. The culinary experiences of various countries bring up a new experience of taste among the masses. What & Where to Eat in Barcelona covers a list of restaurants ranging from the Japanese, American and also Chinese.

The American restaurants in Barcelona are very popular. The Milk Bar & Bistro Restaurant is the best choice when a person thinks about what & Where to Eat in Barcelona. The best food offered here are "Milk hamburger" which crowned with the house sweet onion savored, served with wedges and tonkatsu sauce, "The Ultimate Caesar Salad" which has a homemade dressing, chapata croutons, smoked bacon, parmesan cheese and topped with a warm poached egg and of course the ever popular "Seafood Jumbalaya", has a unique taste. The restaurant is a popular joint for the Sunday Brunch.

The Bagel Shop Restaurant has a purely American ambience. The specialty of the restaurant is bagels. The bagel is a combination of the sesame, poppy seed, plain, raisin, chocolate, etc. The true bagel experience is felt in this place.

The Japanese restaurants remain in the hit list when we think of what & Where to Eat in Barcelona. Tempura Ya Restaurant offers around 80 dishes along with the best of Japan in the name of Sushi or Sashami. Other than these food such as seafood salads and duck Magret with blackberry sauce are loved by the guests. The Kynoto Sushi Lounge Restaurant is the best outlet to relish the wide array of teas and coffees. Japanese beers are another hot favorite in the restaurant. The Masturi Sushi Bar restaurant and the On Sushi restaurants never miss the hot list.

Chinese restaurants are something which are popular all over the globe. Barcelona is also famous for providing some excellent Chinese food joints. The Udon Barcelona Restaurant has a very stylish atmosphere which offers a range of Japanese food along with the Chinese ones. The restaurant is designed keeping in mind the principles of Feng Shui. The main courses start from the main dishes, salads and side dishes. The food ranges from traditional Japanese soup based on Soya, mirin and dashi. The light and a bit fried noodles are also an excellent choice for the guests.

Hi, I've been living in Barcelona for over 7 years and given that I have a concierge service and another company that offers unique Experiences to visitors to Barcelona, I'd be more than happy to give anyone who's interested restaurant recommendations.
